As part of your ongoing leadership growth, welcome to Month 1 of your 6-month “Accentuate Your DISC” series! Each month, I’ll be dropping bite-sized insights to help you better understand your DISC personality style and connect more meaningfully with your peers.

Let’s break it down with a little fun:

💥 D is for Dominant
The “Drive It Forward” leader. Decisive, focused, and always moving toward results. They don’t just talk about action—they are the action. If they wore a cape, it would read: “Lead. Decide. Deliver.” 

💡 I is for Influencing
The “Life of the Party” motivator. Energizing, optimistic, and full of ideas (and maybe confetti). Loves people—and they probably started planning your next office celebration.

✅ S is for Steady
The “Calm in the Storm” teammate. Loyal, thoughtful, and a great listener. They bring peace to pressure and always have your back.

🔍 C is for Conscientious
The “Details Matter” professional. Accurate, analytical, and quietly powerful. They notice everything—and double-check it twice. (And yes, they spotted the typo in your email.)

Over the next 6 months, we’ll unpack these styles even more—how to work better together, communicate effectively, and lead with strength and grace.

This month’s challenge:
Notice your own style, someone else’s, and compliment a teammate using their language. (I’ll be cheering you on!)

🧠 Emotional Intelligence Moment
Here's a quick EQ insight to reflect on:
“Emotional awareness is the first step to stronger relationships.”
When you feel a strong emotion—pause. Name it.
Am I frustrated? Excited? Nervous? Grateful?
The more clearly you name what you feel, the more control you gain over how you respond. That’s leadership.
