Hello CCA Faculty and Staff,
Welcome to Month 2 of your āAccentuate Your DISCā journey!
As we enter the
Christmas season, itās a beautiful time to shift our focus from understanding ourselves to understanding one another.
Just as Christmas reminds us of Godās love expressed through His Son, our relationships with one another grow stronger when we lead with compassion, patience, and a willingness to see others through their unique lens.
Letās take it up a notch and look at what each style needs from you.
š„ D (Dominant) needs:
Directness
Clear goals
Respect for their time
Tip: If youāre going to bring a problem, bring a solution too. Ds appreciate action.
š” I

Enthusiasm
A chance to speak and be heard
Recognition

ā

them time to think and space to get it right. Avoid vague directions.
This monthās focus is all about empathy in action. When you honor what others need, you build trustāand thatās what great leadership is built on.
š§ Emotional Intelligence Moment
Before your next meeting or conversation, try this: Ask yourself, āWhat might this person need right now based on their DISC style?ā It only takes a few seconds and the payoff is deeper connection, better collaboration, and fewer misunderstandings.
You donāt have to lead like everyone else. You just need to know how everyone else leads.
With appreciation,
