Welcome to Month 5 of your “Accentuate Your DISC” series! A new year brings new goals—but did you know that each DISC style approaches goal setting differently?

Understanding your own goal-setting style (and others’) helps reduce frustration and boosts follow-through. Here’s a quick breakdown:

💥 D (Dominant): Big picture, fast action. They want results—yesterday.
Leadership Tip: Help them focus on realistic milestones without losing their momentum.

💡 I (Influencing): Dream big, start fast—but can lose focus.
Leadership Tip: Keep their energy going with encouragement and visible progress.

✅ S (Steady): Thoughtful and loyal, but hesitant with change.
Leadership Tip: Support them through transitions and celebrate every step forward.

🔍 C (Conscientious): Precise, methodical, and goal-oriented.
Leadership Tip: Give them structure and time—they’ll get it done right.

🧠 Emotional Intelligence Moment
If you notice a teammate approaching a goal differently than you would, don’t assume they’re off-track—they may just have a different roadmap. Ask with curiosity, not criticism.
