Women’s History Month
Daughters of Destiny
Scripture:
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” ~Luke 1:45 (NIV)
Devotional:
March is Women’s History Month—a time to honor the legacy, strength, and resilience of women who have shaped history and are still shaping the future. From the pages of Scripture to the streets of our communities, women have been forces of faith, courage, and influence. We remember women like Deborah, a judge and warrior who led with wisdom and boldness. Esther, who risked her life to save her people. Mary, who carried the
Savior into the world. Priscilla, who taught the Word with clarity and conviction. These were not perfect women, but they were available, faithful, and obedient.
Their stories are not ancient relics; they are divine reminders that God uses women—ordinary and extraordinary—to accomplish extraordinary things. Just like them, women today are raising children, leading in boardrooms, innovating in science and business, preaching the gospel, starting movements, healing the broken,
and building nations. You are one of them. You are part of a powerful lineage of women chosen for such a time as this.
We are living in an era where women are rewriting the narrative. We are no longer defined by limitations, but by divine assignments. The same God who used women in biblical times is empowering you to walk in purpose, wisdom, and boldness. You may not feel qualified, but if God called you, He will equip
you.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the women who have gone before us and the ones rising today. Thank You for choosing us for such a time as this. Help us to walk in strength, dignity, and purpose. Remind us that our stories matter, our voices matter, and our obedience matters. Use us to reflect Your glory in the earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge:
This month, choose one woman from the Bible to study and one woman
in your life to honor. Write down what you admire in both and how their strength inspires your own.
