{ subscriber.first_name | capitalize }, have you ever sensed that your spiritual footing was being challenged, whether by outside pressures or your own doubts?
It’s easy to overlook how quickly our spiritual ground can shift—sometimes through subtle compromise, other times through outright intimidation or fear. I’ve realized that protecting our spiritual standing isn’t just
about avoiding obvious pitfalls; it’s about staying alert to the small ways we can lose ground, and intentionally choosing faithfulness in the face of pressure.
Scripture: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13
Devotional:
We all face moments when our convictions are tested—by circumstances, by others, or even by our own fears. There was a time when I let
intimidation silence my voice, only to realize later how much ground I had given up. God gently showed me that spiritual strength isn’t about being perfect; it’s about returning to Him each time we falter, and standing firm in His truth.
Remember: God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When fear tries to creep in, remind yourself that you are equipped with everything you need to stand firm—courage,
compassion, and clarity of mind. Lean into these gifts and let them guide your responses to challenges.
Protecting your spiritual position means recognizing the tactics—distraction, discouragement, or even subtle temptations—that can chip away at your confidence. It’s about understanding who you are in Christ and refusing to let anything or anyone redefine your worth or calling.
Prayer: Lord, help me to see where I might be vulnerable to
losing ground. Give me wisdom to recognize the enemy’s tactics and courage to stand firm in Your truth. Strengthen my resolve to walk in integrity and keep my eyes fixed on You. Amen.
