1. Pinpoint Your Purpose
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
—Ephesians 2:10
You cannot focus on what you cannot identify.
Purpose clarifies… and clarity accelerates.
When I finally got a grasp on this one secret—being focused—my life shifted. Momentum came.
Peace came. Direction came.
Ask God to illuminate your purpose for this season and write it down. When purpose becomes clear, decisions become easier.
2. Follow an Improvement Plan
“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost…?”
—Luke 14:28
Purpose without planning leads to frustration.
Purpose with planning leads to fulfillment.
Jesus taught us the importance of counting the cost
so that we can finish what we start. That means asking yourself:
What needs to change?
What requires discipline?
What must be removed or added to support my God-given goals?
A plan guided by God becomes a path toward momentum.
3. Stay in Counsel With Like-Minded Achievers & Believers
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”
—Proverbs 15:22
Who you walk with determines how far you
go.
You cannot maintain spiritual momentum surrounded by people who drain you, distract you, or discourage you. You need voices of faith, wisdom, and accountability. God never intended for you to run this race alone—your circle matters.
Reflection Questions:
- Where do I sense God calling me to focus as I finish this year?
- What specific improvement or change would best support my purpose right now?
- Who are the faith-filled,
like-minded people I need to invite closer into my journey?
