How many of you know that the shower is the proverbial thinking ground? It’s that place where the noise of the world fades and clarity begins to flow. For me, it’s often where God reveals what I already know—but need to act on.
As I prepare to host the upcoming John Maxwell Live2Lead Leadership Conference, I found myself asking, “Lord, how am I going to get people to come?” I began thinking of sponsors, partnerships, and all the logistics that could make it easier but then the Holy Spirit reminded me: “You don’t need everybody at this conference. You just need the right people in the room.” That hit me deeply. God was showing me
that the goal isn’t just to fill seats, it’s to fill hearts with purpose and transformation. The people who are meant to be there will be there, not just for a half-day event, but to ignite lasting change in their lives, their leadership, and their communities.
Wow—what a revelation!
Many of us know there’s a divine assignment burning within
our hearts—something that can impact others. But when our expectations don’t unfold as planned, we start searching for Plan B. Yet when God gives a mission, Plan B is not an option. God doesn’t change His mind about His calling or His promises. When it’s His mission, it’s not about our ambition; it’s about His will being accomplished through us. Stick to plan "A".
So, if God gave you a
vision, don’t wait for perfect support or validation. Move forward in obedience. The provision is already in the plan.
