Week 1: Stillness Speaks
Scripture:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Devotional:
Sister, God longs to speak to your heart—
Not in the noise, not in the rush, but in the stillness.
Just like Habakkuk, who climbed up to watch and wait…
Just like Jesus, who slipped away to the mountains to pray…
You, too, are invited to step away from the demands and distractions and simply be with Him.
You don’t need a perfect
space.
You need a willing heart and a quiet moment.
It could be your favorite chair before the sun rises, a walk alone, or even just a few minutes in your parked car.
Wherever you can slow down and breathe—He’s there.
When your mind is still, the Holy Spirit can move freely.
God has promised in Luke 11:13 that if you ask Him for the Spirit, He will give it. That promise is for you.
Declare it boldly:
“According to my faith, be it unto me.” —
Matthew 9:21
If unbelief or fear has crept in, take a moment to repent.
Lay down the lies you’ve believed about God being distant or silent.
Every time you quiet your heart, you push back the enemy and open the door to divine connection.
Stillness matters, Women of Worth.
God is near. And He’s whispering in the stillness!
Prayer:
Lord, I choose to be still. Quiet my soul. Clear
the noise.
I believe Your promise. Speak, Holy Spirit—I’m listening
