A couple of weeks ago, I shared that my aunt had passed away. As we were preparing to begin her funeral service, we received the heartbreaking call that her brother had passed away in Alabama. His funeral was held just this past weekend. What a month it has been—one filled with loss, reflection, and reminders of how precious each day truly is.
Even through the sorrow, I could still sense God’s peace surrounding me. I spoke at both funerals and shared what remains the heartbeat of my life; to be intentional about pouring out love. Love for my family, my friends, and my community. My mission is simple yet profound: to please God, bring Him glory, and serve others.
Life often gives us more than our share of heartaches and challenges.
But even in those moments, God is still in control. He uses pain to deepen our compassion and loss to renew our purpose. In every tear and every goodbye, He reminds us of the urgency to love intentionally, forgive freely, and live purposefully.
Each goodbye reminds us that tomorrow is not promised. So when we live from that place of love, we leave behind something that never dies—a legacy that continues to speak long
after we’re gone.
