Every one of us has desires—things we long for, hope for, and sometimes even pray for. Yet desire is personal. It shifts. It grows. It rearranges our lives based on what we want in the moment. Today, you might desire peace. Tomorrow, progress. Next week, opportunity. Desire enhances you.
But vision—God’s vision—is different.
Vision is the larger desire that expands beyond personal gain. Vision is
all-inclusive. It transforms families, organizations, communities, and generations.
Desire says, “I want things to get better.”
Vision says, “Lord, use my life to make others better.”
And willingness is what bridges the gap between desire and vision.
Willingness lifts your consciousness. It expands your capacity. It moves you from “I have to” into “I get to.” A willing heart cannot be forced; it is chosen. Voluntary.
Joy-filled.
You didn’t have to read this devotional today.
But you willingly chose to. And that simple choice matters because every act of willingness opens the door for God to speak, guide, and grow you. A willing heart creates space for joy, clarity, and spiritual momentum.
When I began praying for the desires of my heart concerning my business and ministry, God gently shifted my perspective. He moved me from desire to vision. From “What do I want?” to
“Who are You calling me to impact?”
The moment my desires aligned with His vision, everything changed—clarity came, purpose deepened, and joy expanded.
Because what happens within you is always your choosing. It is your deciding. It is your making.
God provides the vision, but you choose the willingness.
God stirs the desire, but you choose the alignment.
God opens the door, but you choose to walk through it.
Remember, when you
choose willingness, you choose spiritual growth, transformation, and joy.
