Primer for This Journey
As we begin this Bible-in-52-Weeks journey, this season may not look the same for everyone and that’s okay. Some will read daily, some weekly, and some may simply pause here with this devotional. My prayer is that wherever you are, this space will help center God’s Word as we walk this journey together.
This journey is not
about perfection; it’s about positioning your heart to hear God more clearly.
Genesis 1–21 introduces us to the God who creates, speaks, and establishes order out of chaos. With His words, light breaks through darkness. Life begins. Purpose is formed. And from the very start, we see a God who desires relationship with His creation.
These chapters remind us that beginnings often feel vast and uncertain. Adam and Eve step into a world they’ve
never known. Noah builds before rain ever falls. Abraham leaves familiarity for a promise he cannot yet see. Faith, in its earliest form, is simply believing God enough to take the next step.
What stands out most is this: God does not wait for humanity to get it right before He moves. He initiates. He pursues. He promises. Even when mistakes are made, His plan continues to unfold.
For Women of Worth, this week is an invitation to trust the God of beginnings.
Whether you are starting fresh, starting over, or simply starting again—God is already there. The same God who spoke the world into existence is speaking purpose, direction, and hope over your life today.
Action Moment
This week, simply begin. Open your heart to God each day and embrace his Word.
